{Solstice Canyon - Malibu, California} This weekend, I took a hike in Solstice Canyon and explored the remains of the Roberts' family home, which sits at the trail's end in the cool Tropical Terrace. Built in the 1960s, this home in the woods burned down in 1982.
I came across mysterious ruins, pretty pools, a thirty foot waterfall, and a hidden statue of the Virgin Mary. This place is the Canyon's beautiful little secret. I later learned that giraffes, camels, deer and other exotic animals once roamed the property! How totally lovely...
